Wipers stopped working.

I have a 2012 mustang GT Brembo pack car. It has very low miles on it ~22k. The windsheild wipers stopped working. Nothing out of them.

I checked the cabin fuse #45 -5Aamp and its good.
I checked the 30amp f9 fuse and its good.
I checked the relay in #9 position in the under hood fuse box where the #54 position/swapped it with the blower fuse no go

Any suggestions? Googling turns up no results and I had to drive in the rain with no wipers to get home tonight.

I will be taking it to the dealer if nothing turns up. It may be the wiper motor or contacts. That part I could not diagnose at autozone. Freaking fuse 5 pack was 15bux for those fat weird fuses ford is using. I would like to avoid the dealer as I frankly do not trust anyone working on my car, but at this point I have less than a month of warranty left so I intend to use it if its major.

There is also the wiper control itself. Perhaps it's bad. I had one go out in a Mark VIII once. Sparking... *sparking*... when I would turn it on/off/ adjust the delay.

Anyway, I looked up the switch swapout, it looks really easy, just a couple of panels and screws, so maybe go to a junkyard and swipe one for $10 or something and try it out.

Taking off the paneling:

Swapping out the switch:

Or you can just get a new one anyway:

As an example.

As well, the wiper motor seems really straightforward and fairly easy to do...

About $100 without the linkage arm (which can be transferred from the old one) at your local auto parts store.

Just tryin' to help out, 'cause you did all the other work, seems. Hope this helps some!

But of course, it *should* be under warranty, so I'd just do that.

Looks like I am taking it in. I wonder what part went bad.... The thing is the monkeys working at these delerships are less than impressive in their work habits. I have reservations on letting them do the work. However at this point I have no choice. I scheduled an appointment for Friday morning.

If you don't trust your local dealership, take it somewhere else. Contact fordservice (deysha) on this forum for assistance if you need it.

Glad to learn you’re getting this taken care of, jaguarking11. Let me know the outcome.

No offense, but I do not trust any dealership service departments. Personal reasons. However in this occasion I will be making an exception. I hope I wont be disappointed. As for taking it someplace else. The next dealer is 20+ miles away. And most dealers wont give out loaner vehicles anymore.

Brings back memories of when the wipers stopped working on my 91 5.0 in a rain storm. Man that sucked.
