winter time and TPMS

So I will be driving my mustang all winter and i need some winter rubber. Is there a way to turn off TPMS so i dont have to buy new sensors or swap them over from my summer rubber. Any good place besides tirerack to get good set of tires and wheels for the winter? Thanks Brandon

No way to turn it off, some people just live with the light being on for a 2nd set of tires. Some people put electrical tape over the light so they won't notice it being on.

Check out NewTakeoff... I think they have a set of the 17" wheels with PZeroNero M&S on there if you don't mind the 05-09 wheels. If it's any help, I've gone two winters with that setup on my '08.

Discount Tire has always been good too if you have one locally.

You can have sensors put on the new rims. Costs a little more, tho. If you go through TireRack.com you can get them in the deal.
