Not me. Not this time! LOL. Too bad. They would have been well taken care of. I only hope Mr. Robert R Totten has the passion and attention to detail that we share. I can't imagine them being sold.

Not me either. lol
They may not be sold (anytime soon) but I wouldn't mindhaving even a knock off. I hope they offer that color combo (with the Guardsman Blue stripes) on a future Shelby.

I hope he takes care of it also. My cousin won a nice car back in the 1980's. Never washed it or changed the oil and beat it all to hell. After two years he sold it and bought a fishing boat LOL!!!

No way man. I baby the heck out of my Cobra. Most people (who only see cars as transportation) say any of the following comments to me when I talk about her:

1) I would have sold it for (whatever you want)
2) Dude, it's just a car
3) No way man, Mustangs are gay anyway (Vette fans)
4) That's too much work and I'm too lazy
5) What's a Cobra?

So yeah, I really really really hope he puts as much love and care into those beautiful machines as I and you all do. I will be so so so mad if I see these pop up on eBay. If I could get a hold of him right now I would offer to pay all fees and taxes and reimburse his ticket cost to take these off his hands and put them in a loving home.

I had actually conteplated what I would do with these should I have won, and here's what I came up with. I live in a 1 bedroom apartment, with open air parking for my vehicles. Not an ideal situation to be in should one suddenly come into ownership of two very rare, very expensive Shelbys. So, I would have sold the '67. I know, I know, it's the classic. But the money from that would have allowed me to upgrade my living conditions and properly store the Patriot edition (which I would bank on it gaining value over the years being a one off limited edition), and probably give me enough to buy a 2010/11 GT500 to turn into a DD.

But that's just me.

I also thought about what I would have to do if I won those cars. I would have to sell my truck ('09 Ram 1500) and maybe bike (06 Yamaha R6). I would have to payoff the current Cobra as fast as possible so I could afford three (instead of the current 1) sealed storage units for safe keeping. That would run me about $400 bucks a month in storage and another $400+ in insurance, and then whatever the cost of the loan to pay the income taxes you will be charged. I would be looking at over $1K just to own these, let alone play with them or mod my existing Cobra. All this means is that I get to save up now to afford my real dream car (Boss 302)! As much as I would like to have these cars and ensure that they are treated with the respect and attention that they deserve, it might be better (financially) that I didn't.
