Windows Fogging / Getting Dirty Quickly?
I've owned over 2 dozen cars, and my Mustangs windshield seems to get dirty more quickly than any I've ever had. By "dirty" I mean it starts forming that white glaze that you at first only see when the sun is shining in your face thru the windshield.
Also the windows/windhsield seem a bit more prone to fogging, but not much.
At first I thought it was b/c I had a convertible and drove with the top down all the time, but I drove a 2010 GT coupe overnight as a loaner car and it had the same issue.
Anyone else (not in California or Arizona, you lucky humity-less bastages) notice this?

I have my rear defroster on a lot too. The front not so much.
Lots of cleaning and dressing products will form gasses when heated and these will adhere to the glass surface and will fog and also attract dust and dirt.
And I don't know about where any of you all live but down here there is so much road construction that there is a tremendous amount of dirt in the air. I think this also has a lot to do with my allergies.

This is the most likely culprit.

I use/apply Rain-X and notice THAT's more difficult to remove from the windshield than any previous car I've owned.
Minor nit-piks in an otherwise awesome car!
down in san diego we have a good chunk of humidity, i remember in my 05 i would have foggy windows a lot and my car would get dirty because of the new home construction. i washed my car once a week though to make sure she was nice and shiny
I noticed the outgassing caused fogging on my '06 GT Prem, but so far it hasn't been a problem with my '11 GT Prem. The '06 was outside in New Hampshire, whereas the '11 is inside in Arizona. Don't know if that could cause a difference. The '11 has only been here since July 2nd.
Usually plastics will outgas heavily when everything is new, but taper off over time. I would imagine that some of the cleaning/conditioning chemicals applied to the surfaces, of the interior, would either add to this, or maybe block the fogging of the windows.
