anyone order a '14 towards the end of january and get a vin or build date? I ordered mine on Jan. 24 and its still being processed...maybe im just getting a little over anxious here haha

 

It took about three weeks for my order to get a VIN and a build date, so you probably have another week (approx) to wait for yours. And the rest of us are patiently waiting for our cars to arrive. Yeah - - - Right!!!

Hi, I am new on the forum, I need advice.
I have ordered a 2014 mustang premium coupe (P8A) to be shipped to Europe, for the importation it is required to specify where the VIN is located on the chassis (I know that there is one on the windscreen corner, not that one).
Can somebody please help me ?

"vin 1ZVBP8AM3B5125310 has been identified as a vehicle listed in the Vincheck Salvage Records" Date of loss2011-05-16 cause of loss Property Damage. Please
What does that mean?

It means that car was in a accident and caused enough damage to the vehicle that it now has a "salvage title". Have you seen the car? Does it run or is it badly damaged?

 

It may be posted over and over again BUT it doesn't work. Have tried all of websites listed and then some and can't get past WE CAN NOT find that information

I never got my window sticker for my car. The dealership drove to pick it up and when it arrived to me the window sticker was already removed.

Any way I can get another one?

Window stickers are generated at the time of a vehicle's production. You can use the link provided by LCC, or you may contact your original selling dealership to request an original window sticker for a nominal fee.

Duplicate Window Stickers and other certificates of authenticity for recent model years may also be purchased online at www.fordshowparts.com.

How can one tell the actual date their car was built?

Does the invoice date mean the car was built that same day?

 

If you look at the window sticker, it's the "Blend date" located at the top/middle area. Disregard the first number, then it's year XXXX, month XX, day XX.

 

I'd like to know what they mean by:




Active Anti-Theft System, because it sure doesn't seem like it.

 

It monitors all the doors, trunk, hood to see if they are opened without the alarm being disabled, and it also monitors motion inside the vehicle and I believe monitors vehicle inclination so if it's being towed, etc.

Also, the date on my Window Sticker shows 06.02.2014, But the actual build date was in May according to the paperwork I have.
