Window Sticker Shows Up!
I checked today at the Ford VIN Window Sticker site and my sticker is showing now... do the dates on the sticker are in any connection with th production date?
One date shows 08/05/10, then the date on both stickers show 08/10/10 on the bottom...
Thanks for any help

Top left, just left of the blend number is another set of numbers. For example 120100817. That is a build date of 8/17/2010. The date under the VIN bar code is the "born on date." That is the date the car goes into production. There is 2 weeks between my "born on date" and build date, so I'm guessing nothing really material happens until it gets closer to the build date.

Thanks for the info...
Number next to the "Blend" is 120100819, so I assume that my car is scheduled for production on August 19, 2010?
"Born On Date" on the bottom shows 08/05/2010.

Our car has the exact same dates on the window sticker. For what it's worth, dealer says to expect it by 8/30, but possibly sooner. We placed the order around the middle of July.

Jason:
Awesome... we share a birthdate! LOL
My original build date was scheduled for 08/16, but they must have moved it by 3 days... no big deal. Originally my dealer told me it would come in around 09/03, but it may be 09/06 now or... even sooner would be awesome!

Mine just showed up (about a week before scheduled build date). I ordered mine on 06/28/10 with scheduled build date on 08/16/10, but per window sticker it'll be 08/19/10 now.

It would appear that Ford has locked down the window sticker generator site
When I check it now, I get this message:
"Required parameter 'hash' was not provided. This parameter is required and is used to prevent unauthorized scraping of large amounts of data in violation of the terms of use of this website and its services. Please contact Ford directly if you feel you need bulk access to this type of data."

All right,
What am I doing wrong? I ordered on July 3, right around the time all of you did, and even before some of you, and I have heard absolutely nothing from my dealer. No VIN. I don't know what Web site you're all looking at. Please help.
Thanks.

If you don't have your VIN then you can't pull up the window sticker online. I ordered on 6/2 and didn't get my VIN for about 5ish weeks. It depends when your dealership has allocation to have the car built, so if your dealership doesn't have any allocated it might take longer.

With summer almost over, I'm thinking of canceling and waiting till spring, when I can hopefully get a better deal on a 2011 and have all summer to enjoy. The way things are looking, I might not get this one till October, and then the snow will start to fly one month later.

danimal... I agree with csledd and try to get in touch with your sales rep. I didn't have to contact mine... He e-mailed me the information about the VIN number about 3 weeks after ordering.
