The site to retrieve window stickers appears to just be pulling random VINs no matter what you enter. Is there an alternate site?

 

Yep, it appears to be having issues.

 

Same problem here. I was worried because my build date is today! I thought something bad was happening!!!

 

Maybe they're shutting down the window sticker servers to allocate more processing power to their shipping servers. A guy can hope, right?!

You have to add the VIN number to the end of the above URL to get the sticker to show up.

What I do is just click the link and then it will come up with the error "Web page cannot be found" and then add the VIN to the address in the address bar and then click the go tab and it will show up then.

This is the official Ford web page, the earlier link was to an offsite page that didn't actually have anything to do with Ford.

 

At first my VIN pulled up a Taurus, hit refresh and it pulled the correct one with the 2010 crash rating sticker again.

 

Mine turned into a 2010 Escape. I guess that's Ford's solution to not being able to ship 2011 Mustangs.

My build date was (supposed to be) today too.

Oh, and the Escape get's worse gas mileage...

 

Now that's the reason for the hold, mine came up as a Ford Fusion.
