Hey guys, they are not availble for order yet. The 1st run of brochures, Ford sends out to us. Its usually a small order at 1st. When they send them, and we get them, then we know we can order more of them. I wouldn't expect them for at least a few more weeks at minimum.

Have you heard anything about Job 1 being delayed again? Someone is going around to every forum saying that " It's not march 15th anymore it is now April 2nd " but it hasn't been march 15th for a few weeks now..

 

I find that a little odd also. All the past Job dates have been Mondays, this one is said to be a Friday, that seems a little strange to start production on a Friday.

I verified my scheduled dates last Thursday and i was still scheduled for build date of March 29th.

 

March 29th is the official date for Job#1

 

Not sure if i should be happy that my car will be built the first day or not. Happy it's getting built way faster than I had thought, or sad that they will be working through issues using my car as a guinea pig.

But if I do get it early I'll be sure to post pics!

 

Trust me, you are not going to be a guinea pig... They have already run a few batches of pre-production units to work the bugs out.

I hear you and want to agree with you, but if that were true, then they would have scheduled retail orders from the start instead of only scheduing stock units.

Sorry for the confusion. The date I posted above is when my 3 V6 stock units are scheduled for production. Yes, 3/22 is still the Job#1 date.

This is what happens when you type fast at work while watching the lot and watching for floor traffic. You don't review your post for stupid errors!!!

 

Sweeeeeet....start cranking out the cars so I can get one lightly used already!

 

So Job 1 is still this upcoming Monday. Wee! I'm starting to get excited.

 

Does anyone know if there's a date set for when the first cars will be delivered to dealers?

What does VSO mean? Is that essentially the same thing as what GM calls SEO?
