White 2010 V6 pics
Here's the new girly car... V6 premium 5-speed, with Pony and comfort packages. Stone min-perf leather. Dealer add on striping and tint. I mentioned yesterday that I don't drive hard... but my wife DOES... and after one ride with her last night, the choice to go with the 2010 was the right one for me. She doesn't need any more power than this one has.
Can anyone speak to installing the wide stripe? If I was doing it, I would have taken OFF the Sirius antennae, and the Pony emblem thingy instead of cutting. Is cutting the norm? If not, I'm taking it back... and I may redo it again on my own dime anyway if the stripe comes 'whole'.

Does look a little strange with the white ring around the satellite antenna.
I also wouldn't have had that much space between the outer stripes and the main stripe.
Now you need to get a X-Charger to put on the 4.0!

I don't mind the space, because at least they got them straight as far as I can tell (so far). Now I wonder why does the stripe run down over the front bumper, but not the rear? I wouldn't have gotten a stripe on a 'color'... but I wouldn't have bought white without it. The plain white ones next to it looked much too stark.

Maybe their stripe kit was too short to go all the way down over the rear bumper...
And that X-Charger will put you above the new 3.7 horsepower-wise...

Well now... the Ford 'build it' website shows the 2 smaller stripes wider than the ones on mine... the antennae and emblem on TOP of the stripe... and the striping all the way down the rear and stopped at the bottom of the hood (where mine is all the way down the front). Me thinks this stripe wasn't a Ford striping kit. Maybe put on by the folks that do the tint for them. Which means I'll be making a trip to the dealer to ask WTF.
Also 'hearing' a lot more of the transmission workings than what I'd expect. Been a long time since I drove a manual, but it sounds pretty loud inside.

Yeah, those don't look like the "FORD" Stripes to me either, but I'm not fond of the Ford stripes either, because they don't go all the way down the front and rear bumpers. Personally, I would like the stripes to go all the way over the car, all the way down and under the front edge of the bumper, and in the back, all the way to the black diffuser, as well as going under the "Gas Cap" Emblem and if I had to have it, the satellite antenna. Also I would like the wide stripe a bit wider (The Same Width As The CHMSL) and the two side stripes closer to the wide central stripe, with only about the width of the smaller stripe between the smaller stripes and the wider central stripe. But that's just my opinion.

The nice thing about the white Mustangs is that practically any color of stripes will look great. I think they would look nice with stripes in dark green, silver, maroon, orange, dark blue, turquoise, . . . just about anything but beige. Or woodgrain.

On Autoblog I just saw pictures of a new Camaro with a fake convertible roof, so yes, tasteless customizers still exist. Let's just pray no one starts looking through a J.C. Whitney catalog to accessorize their new Mustang. Do you suppose they still sell hood ornaments with glowing eyes? Fake CB radios?

Kinda surpised me... but the dealer told the striping guy to 'make me happy'. So in the morning, the service dudes will remove the faux gas cap and antennae, and striping guy will redo the trunk lid and take the stripes on down the back bumper.
