Wheel Spacers/Adaptors

How many folks have installed spacers or adaptors to add more clearance behind the wheels, like to install Brembo calipers? Have you had any problems?

I used 15mm (5/8") wheel spacers to clear brembo brakes on a 2010 mustang with GT/CS wheels. The wheel clears the caliper by 1/16th or less. I had to cut off the ends of the factory studs to bolt the wheel up. Looks great

From the back, bumper is off the car. You can see it doesn't stick out with these wheels.

If I would use spacers, I would only use H&R. They have a TÜV Gutachten for the S197 and therefore are safe to use up to the maximum speed on the Autobahn. They even list all tire/wheel combinations with Max back spacing in there to ensure no rubbing while hard cornering or high speed dips/bumps with necessary modifications.
Just my 2 cents.

Isn't this info best learned the hard way? Just j/k

Lexiion you would never use spacers on your car because they didn't come factory on any year of Shelby

All joking aside that's why I went with 5/8" spacers instead of something more aggressive. If I don't break any of the wheel studs with slicks this race season I would figure they are fairly high quality. They weren't cheap and they looked nice, we will see.

I actually had them on my FiST. And yes, no spacers ever on the Shelby.
