0. Just drive where and when I want. Left the work world behind some time ago.

I like scenic trips through (mostly) coastal roads. Can be challenging to find smooth surfaces though. California's roads have seen better days. Sacramento politicians squandered surplus $$ long ago and have left the state with massive debt. It'll be some time before the infrastructure gets the attention it needs.

40 miles combined to and from. Average speed 70 mph traffic isn't horrible but the drivers suck. Majority of them drive the left lane even if they aren't passing.

Try the 91. Garbage morning and evening. I drive from riverside to irvine. About 85 miles round trip. I get 17.4-18 mpg. I hate to see the miles rack up too, thats why I got a beater Toyota Tacoma. My 12 had 14k miles in 6 months...

wow, 100 mile round trip with bumper-to-bumper is brutal, that must get old really quick, at least you are doing it in a stang

I have 100 mile round trip commute, but very few stops along the way and very rarely any traffic back-ups. About half freeway, half state highways cruising. I consistently get about 26 MPG on that round trip, door to door. I guess the 3.31 gears are good for something!

Luckily I work from home 2 or 3 days a week so I "only" put about 200-300 miles on the car per week . . . but I'm already over 40,000 miles on my 2010 (bought it used in May 2010 with 7500 miles) . . . so far the car is nearly problem-free and still looks and runs like new ; I don't like to see the value going down but not too worried about the mileage because "I bought the car to drive it"

Driving the stang makes me actually look FORWARD to the drive! Priceless!

15 minutes to work in mild traffic, all city commute. Drive a 2012 5.0 premium with a manual gearbox with 3.55 gears.

I got a about a 10 minute drive round trip, depending on whether I get a green or red at the one traffic light I got in the way, I only drive cuz im not a good morning person, i usually press the snooze button about 3 or 4 times before I finally wake up. My insurance didnt wanna believe I only live 5 blocks from work and I told them I would only up rack up about 6000/yr on the odometer

Lol no its Washington state. Western Washington is so laid back and lazy when driving that once someone gets in the passing lane they are too lazy to get out. I like eastern Washington because out there only two ppl were sitting in the left lane longer then they should.

I drive 23 miles one way, mostly state highway at around 60mph with no traffic in the morning, light traffic in the afternoon. Not much stop'n'go, but a few miles of 'city' and intersections. Computer says 27.4 combined mpg, and it always hovers right around there the few times I've reset it (28K miles).

Brutal. My commute is 29 miles each way and it takes me 25-30 mins. A total of 4 potential stop lights, one of which gets me every time. I've been averaging about 16 MPG but have babied it a few times and got 22+. Just over 14,000 miles in 11 months now.

Heading to Laguna Seca in a couple of weeks to give the eurotrash Porsches a good smack down from some good old American iron!

I work a 4 on 4 off schedule, 11 miles to work. I don't drive it often to work because of tons of animal impacts on the route and tight traffic mon-fri with many fender benders . I drive it when I'm working weekends and when I'll be driving daylight hours to minimize animal impact risk. On my 4 off days, I drive it everywhere and rack up as much miles as I can. 12' auto 5.0 11,400 mi.-- My beater is a 98 4runner 4x4 with 271,000 miles 21 mpg. Transmission has never been serviced, original AC charge, original alternator. Runs like a champ. I hope the Stang lasts like my Yota .
