What's wrong with this picture?

Let's see how well we know our CS grilles. It was originally red, and I had it painted to match my car, but something's not quite right...What's wrong with this picture?-dsc00352a.jpg

Kinda hard to tell if it's just a paint effect, but did you remove the vertical bars?

Something's kind of flashy behind the grille too. May just be the camera flash.

No, and no. It's not as easily seen in the smaller pic, but may be more visible when enlarged. Maybe it's only plainly obvious in person, but I'm gonna have to do something about it. Although I like the idea of no vertical bars, now that I look at it.

Looks like the cobra jet grill with the sides painted white. Other than that i have examined it and another picture and I cant see any difference.

So in my defense, I looked at the pic on my phone and thought I saw police lights behind the grille.

Other than no bars and the four white spots behind the top, I see nothing....and compared to this one...

Is there a gap between passenger light and the grille area?

Dingdingding! It's the four white spots. The bars are there; they just don't show up. I wish it was police lights; that could be interesting. But what looks like lights, is paint. They painted the entire surround after removing the grille. Even the part that's supposed to be black behind the grille. And of course, I didn't notice until after I got it all installed. So, apparently, next weekend's project will be to remove the grille, and break out the rattle-can black.

As far as the cleanliness of the garage, well, that's just the part I cleaned out for installing the grille.

I see it too but I think it's just the angle of the picture and the ambient like that make it look that way.

Okay, I see it now. Had to go outside just now to make sure. No gap.

It'd be just my luck that I'd screwed up my first mod.

That is why mine was trimmed a little before paint

That and I figured out the extra air though the radiator and AC condenser would not hurt either.

The grill should be black.
