What's the BFD with IRS?
I'm just not into Hyundai. The only Hyundai that has even remotely grabbed my attention is the Genesis.

The bottom line, is just as you said. The car is just downright fugly, and also has no appeal to me whatsoever. As a matter of fact, IMHO. This car is far more fugly, than what the 04-06 GTO was !

c'mon guys that is not a bad looking car. It seems like everyone here hates on anything that is not a Ford. Even if the torque isn't that high, it's still better than the Mustang's base engine!

That's not the Hyundai base engine. Why are you comparing it to the Mustang's base engine?

Yeah Those Quarter Windows Are Just Stupid Looking In My Opinion. They Were Just Trying To Be Different For Oddity's Sake. It Makes The Whole Thing Look Dumpy And Droopy To Me. Kinda Like Anti Hips Compared To The Mustang, Camaro, And Challengers Hips. I'm Also Not A Fan Of The Headlights With Those Dopey Little Downward Points/Tears At The Outer Corners.

Not that hip size has any relevance. Just sayin'.
It kinda remind me of the Nissan Altima coupe and Infinity G35 coupe. To me it seems like it's going to have some power, be cheaper than everyone else and offer the 100,000 mile warranty can't go wrong with that.
I see this car being marketed to potential Nissan 350Z, RX8 buyers...... Same or equal performance for less money. Keep in mind not everyone wants retro and I think this car does a good job looking very modern.

the better aftermarket car is going to be the turbo four because the boost is set low from factory. once tuners get ahold of it i'm sure it'll make 300whp for cheap. that's why ford needs to put the 4 cylinder dohc turbo in the mustang. tuners will be all over it. keep it light and no one will care about the SRA
