Naaa...
Never have warmed to Mustang "coupes" -- aren't all the hardtop versions "coupes"? -- over the fastback or vert versions. They just seem to lose their signature sporting profile for that of a pedestrian sedan without some odd, compensating cool factor such as a Z3 Coupe'esque wagon might.
The "hip," which I'm a fan of in general as an iconic Mustang styling element, doesn't seem well integrated into the overall lines in this instance -- more awkward Photochop afterthought than something I'd want on a production Stang.
Rear wing? Another? Again? Just what Toyota/Nissan/Honda/GM/DC sedan was that stolen from? About as distinctive as a button on a belly. Loose it for something truly interesting and original, or at least more iconic Mustang like a '69-'70 ducktail. This spoiler more the result of a put-upon marketing department than that of a top-of-his-game designer.
Bullitt wheels? Let's see, I've seen these on just about every other Stang on the road anymore, not one of them a Bullitt Mustang. Waaaaaay overused, tired, stale, trite, boring...unless used on a Bullitt Mustang, in which context, they're waaaaay cool. Same put-upon marketing department forced to dredge up something wholesale from the past rather than a fresh, inspired, design idea.
What's the ground clearance and suspension travel left on the front end? Never mind the speed bumps, better slow down for thickly-painted lane stripes in this puppy.

I don't see the point of reintroducing a Mustang coupe or 'sedan' or notch...whatever you prefer. I'm sure some people would like to see them return, but I'd be surprised if they represent a very large segment of potential buyers. Seems primarily like a way to raise costs of producing the Mustang to me, since I doubt Ford would actually move any more Mustangs for their trouble..
Agreed, I'd rather see Ford devote it's efforts and money into more substantive performance, features and material quality enhancements, especially given the competitive onslaught the Stang's gonna face when the Camaro and Challenger hits the showroom floors. Ain't gonna be a one-horse race anymore.
I like it it reminds me of my 66 & 66 coupes i had, I wondered if they would think about doing a coupe version I love my 07 fastback style too, but I would like to have a coupe version too sitting next to eleanor.

I like it. The idea of having a backup top to throw on while you're in the garage before you take a vert out for a spin has always appealed to me. Hips alone don't make the thing a '10 but it's on its way.
Good chop.

Good chop.

I like it. It would be great as a removable top for a vert. WRT the retro look, I always thought the coupe was kind of missing. Not sure how it would fly marketing wise though.
