Well... my dad took his Lincoln to CarMax and sold it and got his cash. He and mom drove down to see me in the Focus. They insisted I use some of it to buy a new mustang. They were about crippled by the time they got here. When I bought that car for mom it was her get around car and dad had his Lincoln for their traveling car.

I took the Focus and traded it on a 2014 Mustang GT and my parents drove away in my 2013 Ford Fusion SE with their cash from the Lincoln sale. They got a bigger nicer car to drive and I got back into a Mustang. I'll drive this one until the Shelby model comes out in 2016 and decide what I want to do at that time.

First thing I noticed right away was this 2014 manual transmission shifts so much nicer than my early 2013 did. Did Ford change something?

Funny I was wondering if there was a change, as my 14 seems to shifts a little nicer than my 12 did...maybe just in my head....

Nice choice! I test drive a 14 GT today and it was the easiest car to shift that I have driven. The clutch was like butter :-)

Pics will be coming.... so far it's dirty as hell from all the pollen. Mods so far are 15% window tint all around (none on windshield), Boss 302 quad exhaust, shorty antenna and got rid of that stupid looking shifter **** for a Boss 302 shift ****/boot.

Next up is the Shelby GT500 2013/14 quad exhaust / rear valance

just picked up my 2014... wouldn't change it for anything else. I just don't like the way the 15's look, but then again I said the same about the 2010 mustangs when they first came out.

I would say get the 14, but I don't believe in buying launch year cars. Too many little things pop up.
