What voids warranty?

So, basically-what after market changes can void warranty?

For example: If I lower the car, would it have any effect on warranty, other than suspension parts?

The Magnusen-Moss Act pretty much covers it. The manufacturer basically has to prove that the part caused the failure. Example, an airfilter with too much oil causes a Mass Air to fail. They could blame the air filter. Another, if the manufacturer specifies a specific oil and filter, they have to supply it free of charge. As long as the oil/filter meets their spec, it cannot void the warranty.

Am sure those with more experience can give a better answer.

There are numerous threads in the 05-09 section which may prove helpful. I think a general overall guideline would be "mod at you own risk" if it relates to the drivetrain, suspension, etc and a problem develops.
