[quote=Ministang;5934806]What, exactly, is you point? I autocross my Mustang, Mini, and Miata, and occasionally get to the drag strip and track as well. I seldom push any of my cars on the street to the point that something like the Brembo package would be beneficial to me (on the street), I do however push them in other environments where better wheels, tires, suspension, and brakes are helpful.[ote]

First you argue against the package, seeing no value to it, Now you say those features would be helpful....(???)

I'm done with this one. I have the Brembo package and find the enhancements exactly what I want for a street car. Suspension and brake enhancements are desirable no matter how or where you drive your car.

Just like the guy that gets the biggest 4x4 available out there and doesn't even go off-roading with it.
I say it's called bragging rights.

I never argued against the Brembo package. My main point, and the topic of this thread, was about the Pirelli P-Zero tires that come on the Brembo package cars. My point was about the issue of changing to a much lower performance tire when it comes time to replace the Pirellis.

I do agree though that the Pirelli's Ford put on the Brembo cars are among the top high performance tires out there. If not the best.

I think you will find the Hankook Ventus V12 255/40R19 for $174 at Tirerack is a very good Max Performance Tire. Better than the HTRZ III although the difference between tires is much less than the difference between them and the Pirelli Pzero All-Seasons that come on non-Brembo or non-V6PP cars.

As to the original question the Brembo Package comes with Pirelli Pzero (Summer) on Coupes and Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar on Convertibles.

I have those on my GTI and have several local buddies with them on Z cars. Excellent tire, especially for the money.. I recommend them regularly...

Just as an FYI, I've driven mine pretty hard, at about 10k in miles on the pirrelli's I was at 8mm at the fronts and 3mm at the rear.

Edit: and mine are the all season...

The convertibles with Brembos come with Goodyear tires in lieu of Pirelli, not sure which kind.

Don't forget about resale value as well. I am sure a 2011 Mustang 5.0 with the Brembo Pkg will be more desirable in the long run than a car without. Remember, this is essentially our track pack.

Not comparable. The Pzero Max Performance Summer Tires are a much softer compound.
