The first was a 1973 Gran Torino and the second was a 1977 Buick Regal.

I normally just leave a 32GB USB stick plugged in and shuffle everything on that, but I've encountered 2 issues that puzzle me:

1. Sometimes (can't seem to find a consistent reason for this), but not always, when I start my car up, the music source will switch to radio. Whenever I shut the car off last, I was listening to the USB audio as normal, but only sometimes will it start back up playing from the USB.

2. I have about 1 or 2 albums worth of songs that, despite my editing the mp3's ID3 tags (using MP3Tag), will not show up under their respective artist / album (they instead show up as "Unkown"). They still appear in the folder view and play normally, but I can't seem to get the metadata to read correctly.

Anyone else experiencing these issues?

Mine does the "USB unplugged" message from time to time. Annoying.

My grandma is 101. She has socks older than you.

While I was growing up I was told with age comes wisdom.

In my car I use the sound of sirens wailing behind me to keep me in a driving mood.

Hard drive in the electronics package. I upgraded my speakers and is a perfectly good set up. Prior to this car I pretty much did little to no music, now I have about 900 songs loaded up that I really enjoy. I'm always finding new old music along with some contemporary stuff. I will use sirius as well, along with Pandora and even I heart radio. For me the ep was well worth it. Now I should program upgrade my sub and add more power.

Hey, coachhoach and driftboatbum -

After the v4 introduction of AppLink, we had to make the design such that you cannot default to Bluetooth audio. USB, however, should resume normally. If you're experiencing issues, I recommend checking your SYNC Owner account for an available software update:

https://secure.syncmyride.com/Own/Mo...ent/Login.aspx

If there aren't any updates available, I suggest performing a Master Reset on your SYNC system.

Standard radio:

http://support.ford.com/sync-technol...ter-reset-sync

Navigation system:

http://support.ford.com/sync-technol...ync-navigation

Let me know if this helps or if you have additional questions.

Jaclyn

For some reason I can't seem to get my iPhone 4S with OS 6 to play anything on my Sync system in my car. It won't acknowledge iHeart radio even when it's playing on my phone and connected to BT. And I can't get it to play anything from the USB. What gives?

I should start using that Hard Drive...what did you do to load it? iPod or something like it?

Zeppelin works for me. I'm gonna guess Houses of the Holy based on the year, maybe it could be Physical Graffiti. Got them all on the iPhone...though I think Rage works the best when on the highway. Don't think that is available on 8-track!
