If you want a little more oomph out of the 5.0, then wait til MY2012.
I don't know if I can wait any longer, and besides, 412 HP is enough for me. Anything over that would probably kill me. Heck, 412 HP is getting kinda borderline there...

Hmm... are we talking north of 450hp? Beefed up internals? Direct injection?

On that note, I'm hoping it's a SE and not a regular GT... Ford hopefully can hold off putting that in a GT 'til 2014 for the 50th anniversary or the next gen Stang.

I doubt that there's going to be any changes to the motor between now and the next redesign.

We might see it go DI for the next body overhaul.

That would be nice, but I don't think the V8 Camaro has DI. I know the V6 does, but not the V8...

It doesn't, but with the CAFE requirements becoming more stringent, they may use it to improve fuel economy.

R CHAR/BLK BLUE
401A RAPID SPEC
  • .PREM TRIM/COLOR
99F .5.0L 4V TI-VCT
44X .6-SPD MAN TRANS
T3C .P235/50/R18 - I will replace within a year
13D SPOILER DELETE - I will do a ducktail spoiler later...
31S MUSTANG VPC
422 CALIF EMISSIONS - I guess this mandatory for PA...

Aftermarket accessories will depend on vendor support ... A Borla or Magnaflow axle-back is a definite.

I was thinking on skipping the Shaker 1000 and installing the Kicker/Shelby speakers.

Got a link to those? I won't pay for the S-1000 option, but this sounds promising.

Only for the '05-'09's at the moment, I think '10-up should be coming soon. They might also fit the '10-up, but I'm not sure.

Hmm... I'll have to check with my supplier, I've been very happy w/ Kicker's OE line for Jeep, never bothered to check what they had for my Stang

I'm pretty sure that'll fit the 2010. I like the setup for the sub in the trunk, although it is a bit pricey.

If I bought one it would be a Black 5.0 GT with glass roof, Brembo brakes and the Cobra Jet's SHR louvers and hood. Roush black billet front grill, spoiler delete, 5spd, rear tail light tint and window tint. Comfort group for the power passenger's seat.

The more I think about it, the more mods I come up with. I have three weeks to make up my mind on what (and if) to order.
2011 gt premium
Grill surround painted body color, like v6 and shelby
Shelby stripes
Eleanor style front fascia
Billet upper and lower grills like the mca edition
Edelbrock 454 style wheels
Color combos: yellow with black stripes and black interior, or black with red stripes and red interior, or grabber blue with black stripes and black interior. I'll decide in Detroit when I see the yellow in person.

And a side of fries to go with the shake coming from the FR500s mufflers.

Who sells an Eleanor-style front facia for the 2010-11? I've got a cousin who might be very interested in one.

I'm sure Cervini's is working on one, I'll check my SEMA photos... I remember a blue CA Dream car in the Ford booth, but that may have been a Street Scenes or 3D Carbon kit...

You mean the center fog lights? I think 3DCarbon is making one.
