What do you have planned for your 2011?

I plan to order in Black/Saddle. Electronics Package, Brembos, 3.73 Package, HIDs and MAYbe the Glass Roof depending on where I'm at before that. I don't want the actual Track Pack because it won't be enough for me. 6MT of course.

Planned mods:
-Have the car painted Ford's pearl white before taking delivery
-Have all the lower cladding painted gloss black before delivery
-If there is no new fascia, Steeda Q Fascia and hood/CDC chin depending on my mood
-Header back exhaust, CAI and dyno tune; Royal Purple in everything that takes fluid
-Shelby Razors 20x9 and 20x10, outer lips painted glossy black/centers pearl white
-Maier Racing/Max Motorsports full suspension package, eventually 4pt rollbar and Recaros
-Audison bit one processor and amps, full active 3-way Morel front component speakers, 2 Morel 9" subs infinite baffle off the rear deck
-5% tint on rear 3 windows, 50% on front 3 (yes windshield too)

That sounds like a lot, but basically I want my wheels, exhaust, stereo and suspension, and I'm done!

What is everyone else planning? I don't want to wait for a Boss. I've waited long enough. The Boss will be sick, but I don't think it will be in my price range upfront, that and I like to build my own style and look on my car.

You're going to spend over $60k on all that.

With the money you want to spend, screw MM. Go Griggs.

Lol I didn't say I was going to spend it all up front. The stereo stuff, I have access to from my previous job. I'll install it myself too.

Also, I have a good relationship with Maier Racing in Hayward. They've done some work on my current car and they know their stuff. I want the car to be a great all around daily driver. Great power, great ride, great brakes, great sound (audio and exhaust) and great looks. I've look into the Griggs stuff too, but I have to limit myself sonewhere.

And even if I added labor, I'd say $45k tops. May not need more than axlebacks, but I may pick up an O/R X just for fun down the road. I can't tell you how much I'd get the stereo stuff for, but it will be a good deal for me. The suspension and wheels will be the most expensive mods. I'll start with coilovers and swaybars. Move up from there if I deem it necessary. We'll see how Ford has retuned the suspension for 2011, but I know it won't be low/stiff enough for me.

My plan is to order...
GT Premium Coupe with 401A package
Black exterior with red interior
Track Pack (if available from day one)
6 spd manual
Maybe red stripes if available, depending on how they look. I want them to look mean , like my car is going to eat your Prius if you don't get out of the way mean.

I want to keep the car mostly stock at first. If I get the red stripes, I'll switch the shifter **** to be black with red stripes as well to continue the look. I don't know what performance mods I'll do, because I want to see how it feels stock first.

I plan ordering a premium GT with the 401a package. Grabber blue, glass roof, electronics package, back up cam, brembo pkg, 6 spd man, 19s.

Later on I'll add the Steeda Q front fascia, possibly my own custom stripe design, and possibly side scoops....

I'm going to wait till a Boss car comes out, if it ever does. If not, no worries, I still have my Cobra.

If no special edition by mid 2010, then:

-Steeda front/rear fascias (see Streetfighter car)
-SHP painted rear window louvers
-Blackout decklid panel
-GT500 style shift **** (if not equipped) in white/black stripes
-20% tint on rear/side windows, windshield strip
-FRPP supercharger, which I may finance right off the get-go, depending on price

I want to minimize the body changes, but do enough to break it up from the average Joe's Mustang, and add the power and performance after I experience it and see where it needs some work. This would most likely mean suspension and new wheels/tires (and a winter set for MI).

GT Premium coupe with glass roof, manual transmission, Electronics Package, 3.73 axle package (if it still exists), spoiler delete. Probably the 18" polished aluminum ten-spoke wheels, although there are rumors of a new 19" wheel choice for 2011. Possibly the Comfort Package. I don't know about the Brembo brakes, since we don't know if they will be a separate line item or if they are Track Pack only. For color, I'm leaning towards Kona Blue and Saddle, but I'm capable of changing my mind.

For modifications, I have three things I want to do. Cost will decide if I do all three, none, or some combination. Paint the lower body black plastic trim and black grill surround body color. Secondly, replace the stock front facia with the one from Roush, although if Ford offers the facia from the Ford Accessories Mustang from this year's SEMA show, I would consider that one since it could be installed at the factory. However, if they only offer it bundled with the hood scoop, decklid panel, or something else I don't want I will stick with Roush. Third, I'm really drawn to the flush quarter window louvers from Silverhorse Racing.
