Thanks, I can't wait to get them on my car and hear them. The GT500 AB are just not loud enough for me anymore. After watching many different vids and reading people's feedback, I went with the Borla S over the Roush. A bit more money, but everyone seems to say it's worth it.

 

Removed the 3M spray clear bra from the front of the car. It was starting to look dingy. It did a great job of protecting the chin spoiler, but I bought a permanent replacement (xpel extreme). The spray came off very easily. Almost in one entire piece.

Got a freaking plastic bag stuck under my exhaust, and it's melted onto the pipe and the car smells like a burning candle now.

 

Heck my wife would love it! She would like nothing more then my GT smelling like a burning candle every drive!

 

It's not the scented smelling kind, lol.

Anyway, while I was cleaning that mess off my exhaust, I also installed my new Borla S mufflers!

They definitely sound meaner and have a deeper tone than the GT500s. Took it for a drive after I put them on, they are pretty quiet at idle and barely noticeable under normal driving, plus no drone at highway speeds. They sound a little louder than the GT500s, but they don't seem super loud. I was driving around with my windows down and I felt the GT500s were just as loud when stepping on it. Overall, I like the sound of the Borlas better, price wise, not so much, but I'm happy with it.

 

I put on the matte black 5.0's and the look great. Thanks again for the link.

 

Technically it was yesterday but the son and i changed the oil in my procharger for the first time. Somewhat of a pain and certainly a two person job, but it was good bonding time and now the SC is good until next year.

 

Loaded the AED idle lope tune and drive it to work. Bought an 04 Mach 1 for my son over the weekend.

Lol sorry it's getting new tires put on today or tomorrow so it's still at the dealership. Two owners, 22k miles dark shadow grey with five speed manual. Tons of mods, intake, full exhaust, full rear suspension and bracing along with welded in subframe connectors. I'm a little worried it might take my 14 in a straight line lol. Body has some dings and scratches here and there but overall pretty good shape for a 12 year old car.

The 2nd owner traded it in along with an 04 black on black vert cobra, both towards a 50th anniversary 2015 GT.

I'm planning on doing the GT500 but I'm going to have my old stereo shop mold the stock camera into the GT500 spoiler so it looks OEM.

Here's a quick pic of my car. Got it back last Wednesday, but there's still some stuff I'm not happy about. The wifey was sick all night so I called out today to take care of her and Liam. Coincidentally, that gives me time to take the car to the shop and drop my wheels off at the powder coater...
