aww Burton you're too generous. mine will never look as good as yours.
And to be honest, mine only sees rain once or twice a year...usually because i get caught in it later in the day. I grew up on the 'wet' coast so it doesn't really phase me. It is nice though, to look into the wheels and see my shiny konis, and clean red and brass eibach suspension

besides.. if you didn't drive your GT when it wasn't raining, you'd never drive it. I'm willing to bet that it rains more in BC than anywhere else in Canada!

Drove mine in the rain yesterday, and today. Even parked it on my (currently) dirt driveway and drove it (slowly) through a large puddle that was in the driveway.

She's filthy right now.

I feel kina proud when mine's dirty or wet. means I enjoyed it LOL. besides the shiny bits gleam even more when they're wet.

We have bottomless puddles out here in the country so i avoid them ALL. some will swallow your car and mangle a wheel

I am planning to get a new axle back, the GT500s are just not loud enough for me anymore. I don't think I want to do resonator delete in case I want to return the car to stock. I am looking to get the Borla S, anyone know how loud they are compared to the GT500 or to Roush ABs?

I have the Borla "s" axlebacks only, and the engine is stock. I've never had GT500's or Roush, but have heard them on other 5.0's. They're definitely louder than GT500's, but I think roush is alot louder than "s" , because they have that high pitch rasp sound. Borla's are pretty mellow while cruising with no drone whatsoever. When your on it, they get loud!

I've lived in Vancouver 5 yrs and the rain thing is a myth. Sure it rains in the winter when it's snowing everywhere else in Canada but I'll take rain over snow. I live right in Vancouver and we only got 4 mil of rain in the month of May. Record dry spell for May out here. Even the last couple days we were supposed to get rain. I saw one light shower at my place that wasn't even enough to get the ground completely wet.
It doesn't rain right in Vancouver near as much as people think. It rains more in the valley where Darren lives and North Van.

I totally agree. I'd take rain over snow as well.

We have two offices, one in north van and in dartmouth. I go by what my counterparts tell me

Your progression in the Exhaust Life Cycle mimics my own, step by step, no joke.

Stock <<<<<< GT500 <<<<< Borla S <<<<<< Corsa Extremes

Save your $$$ and time and jump straight to Corsas. It's where the path will lead you anyway. Be sure to make it a complete cat-back and not just axlebacks. The OTA pipes are a must, while the X pipe (more euro, smoother sounding) or the H pipe (more American, rub-rub-rub sounding) complete the set up.

My set up is an X pipe, OTA, then Corsa Extremes. Borla S's were ok, but suffered from horrible build quality and longevity (rusting out after less than a year, and fitment issues - 4 times, had to return). The Corsas are quality built, and no one else makes better tips than them. The weld quality is also top notch.
