Congrats on the car show Patrick! They can be a lot of fun. we don't mind some attention and recognition from our peers too. Your car is looking absolutely amazing, so of course you're going to get some ooo's and aaaa's. I'm sure you knew you would

Haha I wasn't sure what to expect. I wasn't in the most prime of spots, so I didn't think it would get that much attention. Not to mention it being silver and very understated...it took a lot of double takes for people to notice little details, which is exactly what I was going for. Once the P-51 graphics are on, it'll grab a lot more attention on the first look lol

I really like this shot. Your spot looks prime to me judging by the company your Mustang keeps. The wheels look great.

I am leaving work early today to drop my car off at a different custom tuner. The custom dyno tune I have presently isn't worth its weight in warm dog poo, and I have been getting the run around from them trying to get it redone. So screw them, I am taking it to a different place. This shop has 25 years experience tuning only mustangs so I am hopeful he is going to get the car to where it needs to be. In addition to the tune, 3.73 gears will be installed as well.

I have her in the garage today. But yesterday drove her out of town on a fairly short trip but with top down and the radio blasting. So much fun. We do plan next spring when we bring her out putting on corsa quad GT500 exhaust - my husband having a fit about having to cut the bumper - but we have a great shop that will do a wonderful job. Then when new tires are required will get wider tires in the back - they are 19 inch but want the wider tougher look. We put on a dead pedal GT/CS where we rest our foot and put on a Mustang GT license plate holder in back. Other than that at least for now we aren't planning on more mods. But one never knows. LOL Going on a convertible cruise next Saturday overnight with 9 other cars in Southern WI - should be fun and the weather is supposed to be sunny and in the 80's - instead of humid and in the 90's. Hoping it will stay that way.

The bumper cutting isn't bad at all for the quads. Once you take the bumper off, you'll see that Ford mas it already marked for cutting off the portion you don't need and where to drill/cut for the mounting tabs for the new valence.

Take your tie and use good tools and you'll end up with a result that looks factory.

Yesterday ...

Took it (and the GF took her Shelby ) to the annual NH Mustang Club's picnic.

Lots of nice cars, really nice people, all at a member's house, a 200+ acre property

Wow that guys property is enormous. Insane pictures dude.

Well yesterday I installed Boss 302 shocks/struts and springs on my car and it honestly handles and looks sick. The ride is a lot smoother than my track pack ride which is crazy. Those struts and shocks must have better valving or something.

My buddy broke off a stud on the boss drivers side strut as well, so we took apart the track package strut to use that mount on the boss strut. Worked like a charm. I got the front all buttoned up minus the wheels/sway links before my brother and friend got over to the house, but tightening up the strut tower brace he busted the stud. Had to do the drivers side all over which was a major bummer. Rear went very well not a hitch, just had a tough time getting the drivers side top shock bolt to unscrew correctly.

What did you do to your '10-'14 today?

Thanks all!

I also broke two of the strut mount bolts, over tightening them on the STB. Required a new mount!

Pretender--- with your GT/CS, you will not need to cut your bumper. In fact, you will not even need to remove the bumper cover to do the install. Just exchange the rear valance/diffuser panel for the GT500 valance. A couple small screws/bolts and some clips is pretty much it. Just another perk with the Cali Special.

Really. I watched a video and they were installing Corsa GT500 axle back and they cut the bumper - but it was a 2013 GT/CS and not a 2014 GT/CS. Even thought the Corsa is more expensive - we really love the sound and seeing as it will probably be the most expensive mode other than buying different tires....think is worthwhile. So is the difference in having to cut the bumper and not cut - stock GT500 Quad or Corsa GT500 Quad?

Gave her a "quick" detail in the garage as I took her out on Friday night and again on Sunday night. Great cruising weather. I wish it would never leave!
Also, sending off a huge check early tomorrow morning on the way to work. Getting really close to paying her off.

Mike is right. Go get and install those Corsas NOW! It's a piece of heaven (or hell?)

Mine's not a 13 or 14 quad setup, but it's the single tip Extremes.

What's sad is that I've only been able to enjoy that sounds for 1000 miles or so this year. Is that sad or is that sad?

The last time I checked, Corsa didn't offer the quad configuration in the Extreme line(unless I somehow missed it). They were available in the Corsa Sport line.

That is sad - we have had our '14 since June 1 and have put on almost 2000 miles and we still have till November. Hopefully next year we'll have that deep throaty roar like you have!
