Spiffed 'er up for an evening car show tonite....and it turned 8K miles on the way home. I'll post pics of the show elsewhere.

Thanks. Yes, live band, but they sucked. There was also a DJ down the street playing at the same time. The main street in Flemington for about four blocks was reserved for show cars, plus there was an overflow side lot, and another lot reserved for the featured cars...Mustangs and T-Birds. Street parking was better though....more foot traffic and shade.

Lots of women too. All night long I let them sit in my car for pics. I'm never cleaning my driver's seat again.

I had a Whiteline upper control arm and LCA relocation brackets installed today. This is the first modification to my car, done by someone other than myself, and it was well worth it. The rear suspension feels solid now, instilling more confidence under acceleration through corners. Unfortunately though, all noises from the rear end are amplified now, including GEAR WHINE. It's very loud in 6th gear about 2 to 3k rpm, pretty unbearable. It seems to be worse on concrete highways rather than asphalt. I feel if I take it in for warranty, they will slam the door in my face, claiming it's the mods causing it. The whine was there before, but it wasn't that loud. Comments or opinions are appreciated.

 

I found a better looking cap at Home Depot for the intake to cover the hole where the sound tube went.
1 1/4" rubber leg cap. I cut off about a 1/4". Very tight fit. A little grease would have helped it slide on a little easier.

 

 

Nice, I got my $12 sound tube delete kit in the mail last weekend, but haven't had the time to put it on yet! Need to do that this week!
