sh*t...with how crummy the MT82 is, I don't hate on anyone getting an automatic equipped S197. Plus you can make it shift faster than a manual and put a high stall in there!

And funny is all it was supposed to be.

If he really only has one leg, then I apologize to him if I insulted him in any way

Luckily I have both my legs, but they haven't moved much in the past 4 hours of being in the car. Currently in West Virginia on my way long road trip.

I haven't done a d@mn thing to, or with my Mustang in a week. Last Friday during a marathon detailing session I discombobulated my back and ended up with a pinched nerve. Went to the chiro yesterday for xrays and manipulation, and it barely helped. Got lots more sessions to do. I'm stuck in the house until I get relief. The Mustang has a nice layer of garage dust on it and I can't do a thing about it. And the weather has been fantastic. I'm missing beautiful top-down driving, cruise nites, and shows.

Woe is me.

Not good at all...especially considering how crummy the weather was this spring and early summer. I hope your back gets better! I had a herniated disc in 2005 and had surgery on it, I know what you're going through!

I know the feeling. I've been off from work with tendinitis in both wrists. I know that sounds like the pussiest thing ever (just made that word up lol), but that's what happens when you slave away typing at a computer 12 hours a day, with 5-6 hours on Saturday too, for over a year. I first reported pain in my arms in October last year, and never got a chance to go into the doctor because of our workload. When. I realized I couldn't hold Liam or turn the wrenches on the car, for any extended period of time, when I was at home, I said "screw 'em" and went in to occupational medicine. They diagnosed me right away and I've been off for 3 weeks now, with 8 visits to occ med for physical therapy and two evaluations by the doc. They said, essentially, I'll always have pain in my arms now, with good days and bad days. You can imagine how pissed I am, since it hurts my forearms to even wash my windows now. Not a huge deal, but the pain is there. Fact is, I'm only 28. I shouldn't be dealing with this crap from such a SH*TTY job!

Either way, while I was off I finally got an offer for a new job, in IT. I'll still be doing typing, but not nearly as much. Plus it'll be closer to home, for the same money, and I'll be reporting to my buddy, so it should be a lot less stressful for now. Much better schedule too.

Anyhow, I stopped by the dealer to check on my car. It was parked outside after I specifically asked for it to be parked inside, though it didn't look like it was left out over night. The service advisor moved it inside without me even saying anything (he's good people, we've known him for years and he also has a 2014 GT). They're going to tear the rear end apart, suspecting a bearing to be misaligned. I admit I don't know my away around inside a rear end, so I'll have to take his word for it. Otherwise, while the rear end is apart, I'm having them put the GT500 caliper brackets on and I'm ordering some GT500 rear rotors to finally get rid of those wimpy stock rotors!

Good morning Tom. I can relate as well. too many years of heavy squats and deadlifts combined with scoliosis, and a few motorcycle crashes in the mix, left me with a back that does not want ANYMORE lol.

some days it's a struggle just to put my socks on (i usually say f&&k it and go barefoot). needless to say my last detailing session on the car took me two days (only 4 hours with loooong breaks). Even yesterday the task of installing braided hose on the pcv line was a challenge. my lower back muscles locked up within minutes. in 2 weeks i have holidays and plan on skydiving and golf lessons. both are questionable with my back though

2 more shows coming up so i'm keeping her under wraps as much as possible to avoid rework.

next wednesday though:

NEW BIG BRAKE KIT gets installed!!
NEW 410 GEARS installed!
NEW CUSTOM TUNE!

With age comes deterioration. No getting around that. I can live with soreness and discomfort. I have a pretty high threshold for that and i tend to deal well with pain. But this is at a whole different level. I'm feeling pure pain depending on the way I sit, turn, cough and in certain sleep positions. The jolt of pain is blinding, and even the slightest movement will trigger an episode.

I initially thought I had strained a back muscle, but it doesn't appear to be a muscular problem from the x-rays. The chiro made some adjustments and got several very loud cracks out of my back, and it felt a bit better for about an hour, but I'm back to square one. I go back tomorrow for another torture session.

I miss my car.

definitely sounds more serious! They can work small miracles with orthoscopic surgery nowadays. Hoping you have a great chiro, who knows his limits and will help you find a quick solution.

I am with you Tom and Darren on the soreness and old injuries starting to haunt. Tom, I miss my car too! I had to move mine to an undisclosed location because I am scared the girl I just broke up with is going to take her anger out on my baby in the middle of the night! Frustrating not having it safe and covered in my driveway.

I was kinda starting to wonder why someone without a left leg would need a dead pedal for that leg

But hey, sometimes we just need to make somebody feel bad on the internet, right?

Good to hear you've got both your legs.
The dead pedal looks good.

Car's still missing the Man pedal, lol

That's where you rest your right leg when cruise control is on. After all, there's no left leg to get in the way when you move your right leg over there.

Did like a 200 mile trip today and hit 10K on my way home.

Had to take a quick pic, was going about 70mph at night when I took this blurry pic.

That's awesome Sean. Are they a direct bolt on?
They flow better than previous years.

Yes sir Tony, it appears to be the case. The head studs fit without any issues, I just have to pull it off and double check my gaskets will work but it looks like everything lines up without issue. Of course this is using a stage 2 RGR headwork on the 2015 heads. I did think the Cobra Jet intake manifold fit a wee bit tight though.

What did you do to your '10-'14 today?

I bought the CPC battery/master cylinder covers and less than impressed with them. The hardware (pushpins) are useless to hold them in place and I have to trim a bunch of it off for the struts and bend the wire loom away, ect. Then I'm rethinking the look. For $90 im probably just going to return them.

Today I ordered BAMA custom tunes for life and the custom tunes for my mods. The new tunes came within HOURS! Thanks Matt O'Brien and AM.

I have to wait till next wednesday though, cuz that's when the new gears get installed.
