What color stripes?
#21
The problem I have with matte black is that it's barely visible. The whole reason I want stripes in the first place ia contrast.
I agree with you on the white stripes. B@da$$, but it's just not me. A little too much contrast.
Black is a very nice canvas. That's why you see just about every color stripe on them.
I'm not a flashy person so I wouldn't do ghig or grabber stripes, but I'm not a sleeper so I wouldn't do matte black. That's why I like gray. It's kinda in the middle. And it goes with the wheels well.
I just wish I knew where that guy got his stripes. I don't believe they're the ones AM have, but they could be. Just not sure

As for the type of stripes, I like the classic twin 11 inch but I have to admit on the ‘13-‘14 hood the big 16 bordered with the two small stripes is really sharp looking. There are custom vinyl graphic companies out there that will make whatever color or strip style you want if you don’t want to do paint.

In my opinion, if you are personalizing the ride, you need to think outside the box. The standard matte black or gray standard width stripes are decent and look great, but hardly "pop".
Again, It's just my opinion - many purists would disagree and HATE my choice of stripes. The question is: Who are you trying to please?
I say go bold or don't go!

If you mean charcoal gray like shayner's, then I agree. Just need to find a place to buy them from with as close to in color as possible

I did see them and thanks for the links, but I just want to know where shayner got his stripes. Color sometimes varies by where you got your stripes. I'd rather not jump the gun, buy silver metallic stripes online, and have them look either too bright looking when they arrive, you know? Or buying charcoal gray stripes online, and having them look nearly matte black.

AJ, the silver stripes do look good. IMHO with the red interior I would have been all over the red stripes. But then again that's me, and you should do what makes you happy.
