. I keep hoping for Emberglo, but it really needs more chrome than the current ponies have to set it off nicely. A nice medium-to-dark metallic orange would look sharp with all the flat black trim these cars have, IMHO.

Picking a color was the hardest thing to do because I knew I would be stuck with it for a long time and I knew I could not change my mind.
My original intention when Mustang searching was to look for a white car because my first car a 76 Cobra II was white with blue stripes and I was motivated to add blue Lemans over the roof and rocker stripes. I really had a nostalgic feeling for my first car plus I always liked the first classic white Shelbys in white with blue stripes.
The last car I had was a black Cavalier which I hated taking care of that color. I also had my share of red and gray cars in the past. The two times I bought gray I got bored with the color. After having those colors in the past I just was not interested in owning anything in those colors again.
When the 2005 Mustang came out my first pick was Legend Lime. My Dad's 1968 Mustang was Lime and I liked that color on a Mustang. I did look at a couple of used Legend Lime Mustangs while shopping.
When Grabber Orange came out I loved it. Sometimes I regret that I did not get Grabber Orange because I was afraid I would get tired of that color and not like it later, but I never seem to tire of it. I never thought that I would ever like an orange car but that exact shade of orange for me is perfection.
I was also attracted to Vista Blue with the white rocker stripes. The right shades of blue have always been among my color favorites.
Performance White won because it was the right car in the right place at the right time. I knew when I first saw it that was the car.
However I enjoy the constrast of black against white so much (which includes the black rocker stripes, headlamp buckets, turn signals, grille, interior and darkness of all the glass) that I decided not to mess with a good thing.
It would be very tough for me to pick a color for the 2010 because I don't like Grabber Blue. I do like the Kona blue. There is no Grabber Orange so that is not even a choice. The new Gold looks muddy and greenish in certain light. I honestly don't know what I would get if I was to get a 2010. I am happy that I like what I already have and don't even have to make a choice.
