Querying if this is the rumoured 2014 GT350 (assume they actually mean the 2016 GT350 that is rumoured to be the SVT offering for the S550)....................um, no. It's the 2011/12 version

I think they are referring to it as a new gt350 with the 13/14 body style update. I believe Shelby American did not update for the 13 model year changes. Remember the gt350 is not produced by ford and instead built from a factory mustang at Shelby American.

They've recently hired a lot of new faces over at gawker/jalopnik and this Patrick Geroge character hasn't really impressed me so his hastiness in writing up an obvious prank-on-him as a lead shouldn't surprise regular jalop readers...

For the '13 they made the chin spoiler black instead of body color and smoothed out that line in the front that makes it look 'tacked on'
