Because that Red is a bit difficult to mount underneath the front bumper, or on the rear quarter panel, or underneath the car to watch the suspension move.
Sometimes you need a little camera to get that big shot.
I was tempted to ask for a copy of the RAW image of that. I would love to crop that much closer to the car at the photo's native resolution and then apply the tilt-shift.

Chris, nice shots nice car. Couple questions:
a) is the paint a stock color???
b) wasn't this the same car that went through some underhood surgery since you ran into some issues? I can't remember... so sounds like all is fixed and running well now?
