After crunching the numbers I decided to go ahead and order a 14 GT. Got it in Silver ( no more black for me!!!) with the only option being the 3.73 gears.

Now the waiting begins, which I guess isn't so bad since I don't drive my toys in the winter anyway. It is a smaller dealership, so it probably won't come till April, which is perfect as that is about the time I take my current car out of storage, plus my pay-off will be lower by then on my trade in.

Only things I am thinking of adding once it comes are GT500 mufflers and some hood struts..took off my black shifter **** and will put that on once it comes in.....down the road will think about larger wheels and tires, but the little lady wouldn;t go for that right away...I "promised" this is the last new fun car....which since I am getting up there could probably be right.

Someone is going to get a very pampered 2012 Mustang after I trade it in.

Silver was probably your best bet considering how difficult it is to keep Black clean especially in Windy City, I miss Snow. So you just had to get 373's eh? Congrats and Enjoy your GT!

With my $750 coupon my rebate s are $3250...if they go up i just need to get a new $750 coupon to get all the rebates.

Love the grey but GB is undeniably the fastest color. That argument aside, when do you expect delivery?

 

Small dealership so probably 8 to 12 weeks...

 

Hurry back to the dealer before it's too late and order the Track Pack, no better value in an option package to be had, and it includes the 3.73's.

I would also suggest the Recaros, love mine, but they are a pricey option, not as good a value as the Track Pack.

 

Had to keep payment around what current pymt was...would have loved Brembo wheels but out of my range....
