How the hell do these posts get like this?
Sure I would have loved to win, too. Guess what? I didn't hit the powerball last week either. And I didn't win that raffle for the 10 speed back in the 3rd grade. GOD DAMNIT WHY NOT ME?!?!?! LOL
Can't we just be happy for the guy? That's awesome! I hope he lives it up!

Well, I have some bad news. It looks like my flight out of Iraq got delayed by at least two days. If not more. And that make my DA mandated reintegration process that HAS to last seven days not finish until the afternoon of the 19th. Assuming nothing else goes wrong and I land on the 12th like projected. That means that I WONT be able to attend the unveiling at LA in person and that my familiy will have to go in my place. I've been getting all amped up and excited as the days pass just waiting and waiting for this time to come. And not it can't. I so badly wanted to be one of the first people to see the car in real life and sit in it and take hundreds of pictures and all kinds of cool stuff. This was quite obviously a once in a lifetime oppertunity. I'm so mad and sad and disapointed at the whole thing. I mean, yes, I understand that I will still eventually get my Mustang, and it will THEN be all good and dandy, but the fact that I can't go see it, after all the people that have helped me out along the way, it all was for nothing.

The rules, in my opinion, only state when he has to take the trip due to the timing of the unveiling. It doesn't say if he doesn't take the trip he forfeits the car, only the trip portion of the award.
Good luck, come home safe, enjoy the car.
