What do you need to grind down?

front timing cover or whatever its called. there are some nubs and ribs that need to be cut down to make room for the supercharger belt and new idler pulleys.

Alright finally got the front bumper on and the radiator shroud thing back on. Tried to get the air out the best i could, cleaned up..

OH MY GOD.....this car is a beasttttttt. So much power. I had to change shorts, then had to change them again. No issues whats so ever so far. No check engine lights. No leaks. Engine temp staying nominal.

But the response is just insane. Haven't done any WOT runs yet, just want to make sure everything is running properly over the next few days. I expect to have some more vids up soon.

Gotta do some data logging which i might do tonight.

PERMAGRINNNNNNN.

Congrats buddy! Looks awesome! Vmp tune loaded via SCT? You're officially in the dark side! Glad you didn't sell her or trade her in for something else?

Congrats on the DIY install!

Just curious what tool you used for the grinding.

Any tips/suggestions on this part of the install?

I used a dremel with a cut off wheel, well a lot of cut off wheels. Tips would be to remove the radiator fan and hose. I didn't very cramped. i used garbage bags and duck tape to tape off the rest of the engine so shavings wouldn't go everywhere.

And patience.

Oh also its hard to say how i feel vs selling it for something else because the something else was going to be a 2015. But i'll say this, my 2011 is totally different now and with all the power.. i must admit that right now i wouldn't want anything else.

The tune Justin gave me is a moderate tune, Ill have to do some data logging tomorrow or something to send to him to see if he needs to adjust anything.
Other then that its pretty responsive, idle is a little low so i think that needs to be bumped up a bit. But the car is pretty ***** to the walls right now lol.

Justin's tune was spot on when I data logged it. He didn't have to adjust anything.

I dont think mine needs any major changes but the tune he gave me was a "moderate" tune so there still might be some tweaking he can do.

Looks awesome! I will be doing the same kit in September or November of this year on my 14. Great job I am not looking forward to the grinding either. Just going to take my time doing it.

Thats all it really takes; is take your time, go into it knowing that you will probably spend a couple hours on it. Also try to take and mask off your motor as metal shavings get everywhere.

I have 3.55's in my auto. Any updates? How is it driving? Do you get immediate power compared to stock? Just waiting for Labor day weekend so I can get mine installed. Saving up a little more too. Was the gauge pretty easy to install (getting through to the engine) Did you have to take much apart?
Thanks for the info
