Our 'Stang
So...We just drove by our dealership and saw that they had an order come in. Unfortuantly ours wasnt on there however there was a "retail" odered mustang there that was built one day prior to ours...here goes hoping that means it was shipped one day prior to ours...Trying not to get our hopes up too much...but it seems more hopeful than anything else thus far...We can't wait until the whole ordeal is over and we can just enjoy our car...

The sticker was on the passenger side floor. White and yellow, about the size of a playing card...and the "91" miles was hand written in with ink pen on a blank line within the text of the pre-printed sticker. ??? All the excitement made me forget to ask my salesman about it. I know the car wasn't driven after it arrived at the dealer. (I watched it be unloaded from the car carrier at 2am. doors were unlocked and thats when i made this discovery.)

Finally PRESENTING "Mirage"
That's the name I'm going with (Mirage)since it felt like this thing was a Mirage, nobody was really sure if it existed, if it was a real thing and it took FOREVER to touch it

I posted before my ride was at Ramp 15. After talking with FCS Tier2 yesterday it is actually at Ramp 51 or Area 51 as I like to call it, with no information going in or coming out. My wait and heavy drinking continues, cheers!!

Hang in there Restless. I've got about 45 days on you in the waiting department and mine finally got out of the ramp last week. I was told it was a transportation hold up. I pushed the dealer really hard about 10 days ago when my first ETA was missed and he got the Ford zone rep to expedite the order.

Haha! NO...wasn't camping out. I'm a Police Officer and I happened to be working the area the dealership is located in. Had no clue it was coming. It was the first time I've ever driven to the dealership...couldn't believe it when I pulled in and saw a car carrier!

Is there anyone out there who ordered prior to April still waiting to get their cars built? Delivery seems to be another issue entirely. I read somewhere that there is a shortage of railroad cars.

My Boss was ordered Dec 6th, built may 20th, scheduled for delivery June 5th. I think they worked out some stop ship & logistics kinks because more ponies seem to be coming.

Thanks for the suggestion RaceRed12. I just shot my Dealer an email to have him or his manager call their Ford Rep. on Monday and push to get my order expedited. You would think by me threatening to cancel, my Dealer would have done that already. I certainly hope you get your car on the 24th!!!
