Just got off the phone with FCS, and my case has been escalated to the next level, and I'm told to expect a call within 2 business days. We'll see if that happens.

Found out it's still sitting on Ramp 5, and has been since the 21st. It was released to the shipping company then, but has not left Flat Rock yet, so 2 weeks ago today. Not happy at all about that, since it's only 300 miles to travel.


As much as this is frustrating, FCS has been phenomenal. With both Deysha here, and the people I have talked to on the phone, I can't ask for better service. I know it's not the FCS reps' fault that our cars are delayed, and they seem like they are doing everything they can to find out what is going on.


Patience is a virtue.

 

Our dealer just emailed us and stated our car is still sitting in Flat Rock as well. We were told our car was loaded off the ramp onto a rail car at 8am last Saturday, 4/30, but as of this morning, 5/5, the train has not moved from Michigan

Our ETA is still holding at 5/10, but that train needs to leave today if our ETA is going to be met!

 

I ordered my car on the second and got my order # today, is this normal to get that info that quick?

Really? I could understand if it was my vin I got so fast, but I assumed the order number was just ford getting my order.

 

Yeah it's just order no. I had that right away too

 

The salesman I went through gave me a printout of my order w/order # the day I sat down and ordered mine. Ordered 02/12/11 Submitted and accepted by Ford 02/14/11. Didn't get my VIN until 04/22/11. Build Week:05/16/11 ETA:06/01/11

I'm hoping mine goes quick seeing that I ordered mine after they have already been on lots for a month now.

OHMIGAW the wait is killing me. dealer has called a few times to get some info from me. Car is there and they're doing paper work now to hopefully make it as quick of a get the keys and drive away as possible.

 

I'd be there already. The paperwork doesn't take that long.

I plan on being at my dealership before the car even gets off the truck.

 

Well, just got an update from Deysha

"Hi evilpeppard,

I checked on your order and it has not shipped, it is awaiting shipment. Right now the plant is not shipping any. I am not sure what the reason behind it is at this time though. The intent is to deliver the vehicles fast, but not at the expense of quality. I’m sure it will ship soon.

Again, we were told our car was loaded on the rail car last Saturday, 4/30 at 8am. This was confirmed by both our dealer and FCS. Our ETA is 5/10, but somehow I don't think we are going to make that date now.

Our ETA has changed three times: 5/6, then 5/11, then back to 5/10 currently.

Thanks to Deysha for providing us all with information. We can only hope the train leaves soon.

What's the deal with dealers saying it's (our cars)on its way when it's not even loaded on the train???

 

Ugh, are you kidding me? Deysha, any more info you can dig up to shed some more light on why our orders are being held up on the Ramps?

I got my order # the day I placed it,,,now you can have Deysha track it for you until the order is pulled It should be at "Unscheduled clean"

 

Well my delivery date is today,,,no call back from dealer. FCS just said in transit with todays date still showing for delivery,,hope the truck gets there and they call me in the morning.
