That's what happened to me... I got the car WAY early. In fact, like a month early. From order date to me driving the car home, it was LESS than 8 weeks.

Got the call yesterday that my Kona GT baby had arrived. Ordered 11/3, built 11/28, arrived 12/12 - not too shabby. Was told that there was a "drop of clearcoat" on the underside of the hood that they wanted to fix before I took delivery - thoroughly impressed that the dealer examined the car to that level of detail. Should have her by Thursday.

I can't wait to get it. Love that Kona blue. I'm trading in a 2010 Challenger R/T with a six speed. Black. Very pretty car and I think it's better looking than the stang. The thing is, when I bought the Dodge the Mustang was only a 315hp car. How was I to know that they'd increase the hp rating by 100hp! Since they did, I just can't ignore that car any longer. I've owned a few mustang gts (1967, 1988, 1992) and I guess I'm due for another. Besides, despite the high production numbers I think these Mustangs will be valuable in the future. They are surely the end of an era.

Ordered on Saturday 26, 2011 but it wasn't in until Monday 28th. I got it through a high volume dealer in Boston and apparently got in just under the wire before they shut down the line for whatever (maintainance, vacations). I can't believe how fast they got this done.

Deysha, My salesman just checked and said nothing has changed recently..still not shipped and still shows an ETA of 12/19. Perhaps someone is not updating the system and dmhines and my car have been shipped?
