So maybe the "your car is scheduled to be scheduled" news will be true...

 

None of the Bosses I have info on have left yet. All 3 GTs that arrived at Lucky's dealership were somewhat simple: all were 400As with 3.73s, HIDs and Brembos, in Black, Kona and Race Red. None of them were shipped through VPC where the striping would be put on.

I suspect that's the next stop for the Bosses.

 

Well, technically, ALL our cars are scheduled to be scheduled.

But as I said, according to a Dealer communique released yesterday no Mustang allocations are being serialized this week. Of course, that is subject to change. But I would expect a swack serialized next week...

 

person at flat rock confirmed first 2012 mustangs shipped last week. Also confirmed there are no hold ups and that 2012 production is in full swing. Hopefully we'll see our mustangs soon!!!!!!

 

I was getting so frustrated with this delay that I was actually considering looking at the Camaro website. Just couldn't make myself do it though. I already think I have gone a little nuts though.

 

Not that I'm marginalizing your frustration, but you did PRE-order your Mustang 2 months before the 12s were scheduled to start.

Yes, but I was actually originally wanting it by April or May, but beetween all the misinformation by the dealer, the delays by Ford, and seeing so many that ordered after me get serialized already, it tends to make you frustrated it is not moving sooner. Had everything gone more smoothly and information been presented in a somewhat more clear way, then things would have been different. No matter when you really originally expected it by, seeing so many people who ordered after you get a vin while at times you are either not sure that your car is even in the system or that you know it is in the system after the delay that is causing nothing to move, it gets frustrating. That is okay though. At least I will have one sooner or later and all this will be forgotten.

Now my dealer is saying mine is scheduled to be built on March 14, not the week of March 14, and ETA at the dealership is April 2. He also gave me a VIN.
