I know the whole stress thing as well. Like your username, (Restless2012) there have been many nights of restless sleep from stressing out over this whole ordeal.

 

I swear I didn't sleep with anyone, but here I am just 2 weeks and 1 day from my initial order date and I now HAVE MY WINDOW STICKER!!

 

Yup, I sure did. I'm still catching up, but I will get to it soon.

Update on mine... Scheduled to leave Flat Rock today at 3:30. Due in Salem, Il. on 6/9. That's a little closer to Houston.

Ford customer service called me today and said the car is in transit on a truck and I should have it by end of week. Weird it would take that long to ship since I'm 3 hours tops from factory??

 

At least you got some pretty good news today. Hopefully, it's not another let down. Good luck.

 

My co-worker told me today that the 1st car he ever ordered was a 1968 Chevelle Malibu 4-speed 327 coupe. He said it took a full 6 weeks and he received NO advance update prior to the day it came in. I can't imagine the sweet anguish!

 

Wow a full 6 weeks back in 1968. My how the times have changed. I hit a full 6 months yesterday! And still counting. Isn't technology great!

Deysha - Thank you very much for the updates. Deysha is awesome!

The salesperson at the dealership has been great as well! He was honest and told us when they had allocation and when he expected the order to be pulled. He also did say that the order could take longer than the usual 8-10 weeks.

I went to the dealership on Saturday and the salesperson took the time to go through the entire Vehicle Visibility Report with me. I got the railcar number and tracked the order over the weekend. The car arrived on Sunday and should arrive at the dealership today. I have a few parts that are being installed and will hopefully take delivery in the next couple of days.

It has been a long wait (Almost 16 weeks) but, I am told that it is well worth the wait. To everyone who is still waiting....hang in there and I hope your car arrives soon!!!

I will post pictures as soon as I take delivery of the car.

 

Ordered the car last week. I asked the dealer if he had an order this week and today he tells me No Mustangs are being built this week.Said he would get back to me in a few weeks on ETA and order #

 

My order is in. I have an order number and have sent that on to the amazing Deysha. I have no idea how long all this will take... I am just praying that I get to drive it a little before winter hits!

My car has arrived. I actually passed the carrier and seen it on the back. Picking it up later on today.
