Updating Sync?

Has anyone ran the update checker from syncmyride.com and found if it needs an update? I have been trying to load it and the website is not working properly. IIRC, the version info is 3.1.XXX

Last year that web site was 'down for weeks at a time'.

Yea same here I tried last night because I thought 3.2 was released but after I downloaded to my thumb drive and did the whole procedure in the car and uploaded back to sync it told me I had 3.1. I then checked my upload history of successful installs, I did it 4 times so far and everyone one was for 3.1 successful install.

It looks like the compatible phone list hasn't been updated since October. It's like they're not even trying, or are being half-baked about the way they support 1st-gen Sync in general...

Well, if that's the case, they really need to get on it and keep that updated. I think its sad that one of their flagship products can't be maintained where everyone should go and see it.

Just got offline http://www.ford.com/technology/sync/?brand=flm trying to see if there was a SYNC update. Got an error message that they were having problems with their system... Got the same message last week..

The site has a popup that lists compatible browsers, so tried both Firefox 4 and IE 9 (site indicates compatible with Firefox 2 and IE 7), same message on both browsers

Contacted the online chat rep who said there were no updates for the 2011 Mustang, but that their IT was "working" on the site, and it should be up again shortly... oooookaaaay.... I guess a week doesn't fit their definition of "shortly"...

I absolutely love the SYNC, but am waiting to be impressed with this "feature"....
