hey all, I have a 2011 running Sync 1, version 3.1. I've been having some issues with sync and wanted to update to the latest version. There is an update available, but according to the sync site, can only be updated at a dealer. I'd rather do it myself to save time (and perhaps money). Anyone have a workaround to this?

FYI - since a few weeks ago I'll connect my bluetooth and play music, only to have it disconnect within a few minutes. And sync doesn't work at all to take phone calls or anything... strange this came out of nowhere.

Would appreciate any input if you have dealt with this!

I unplugged the battery for a few minutes, did the master sync reset, resynced my phone and viola, it all worked again!

 

Well that is a Home Run! We Don't get those Often Enough. Out of A Half Dozen Pdf's I found on Sync I Picked the Right One!
