When I go to another town & like the speed limit drops from 70 to 55 for a pretty good ways I just decel my cruise. When I see the 70 sign again, I just accel back up. When she's speeding up, my cruise has about a :05 of a burp/cough!! It just goes idle, then picks back up accelling? If that's a word? I have told my cousin about it before. He'll get me my appt for I'll take it where he works. I'm knowing this is wrong, but how wrong? Other then that hiccup is what I meant to say, she's running like a champ!!!!

Drove it 407.6 miles last tank. Had to get 2.1 gals to get me to cheaper gas! I ended up 16.6 gals & got 24.6 MPG. Did more driving @ 65 than 70 cause in OK, still.

I have a 2011 5.0 w/auto trans.

 

When you are accelerating with the cruise button do you pump it up one mph at a time or do you hold it down until it gets back up to speed?

 

Hold it. I'm usually going from 55 to 70. It even did it going from 65 to 70 yest. Just been doing this way for about 18 years?

If it stalls again tom, I'll try the hit once @ a time method. Ups it by 1 MPH, right?

 

Yeah, 1 mph per each press of the button.

Don't know why it's doing what you describe, I use the cruise accel and decel buttons both ways on all my vehicles and have never had one do that.

It was just a thought.

 

I had 1 car, not sure which, upped by 2. It just speeds up, like hitting pause for :03-05, &'then acts as nothing ever happened! Done this prob for 2-4 weeks?

 

Today was really 1st time I could try it out. It sped up normal. Not sure of it?
