Turn Signal Cancel Reminder Chime ...
Has heard a while back that 2010-11 (or '05-11) had this feature but there was no mention of it in the manual. Not being one to leave a signal on, I figured I'd never hear this silly chime ... so out of curiousity I left my right one on as I drove down a country road just to see how long it took.
The 1st stretch of road (0.5-1 mile long), I never heard it go off. The 2nd stretch I probably drove another mile before I finally noticed the faint chime ... had the radio on (not loud, but loud enough to hear it) and the windows up so I was really surprised it was so quiet.
Pretty much the same chime as the lights-on chime, but you'd think it would come on sooner and be a bit louder to wake up the typical driver that NEEDS this reminder chime !!

I sometimes miss that mine is still on, but only for about 10 or 15 seconds. I actually had no idea there was a chime, haha. It's probably a bit difficult to judge when someone is going to turn or if someone has just kept their signal on. A lot of external factors there.

Most cars have this feature. I've never had the 'chime' go off on any car i've had. According to the forum i was on with my last car (Dodge) the chime went off after around one mile.
I think the 'chimes' go off by distance traveled and not by time passed.

Why have a chime? The clickity click sound tells you the blinker is on. In fact, that's all it does, since, as I understand it, there is no longer any functional reason for the clicking sound. The clicking is fairly quiet, so a chime might be of value if it were loud; to yell at you "HEY YOUR BLINKER IS STILL ON"! But if the chime is quiet too, a separate chime would be pretty pointless.

Along with a good percentage of the other 144 features I counted on this car (see other thread), it is silly & un-neccessary.
