For all we know I could be the Idevice itself that is causing the issue.
Ppl these days... everything has to be now now now...
Guess this is another reason apple sucks

They were not expecting this issue so they didn't plan for it...
Do you have a backup plan if you get fired? are you gonna go the weekend with nothing?
Might want to plan. As you can see Sct didn't.

They have no clue on what issues to expect with their new products. So the least they could do is provide 24/7 tech support, just like the majority of other electrical component companys. Hell if not 24/7, at least Saturday-Sunday 9 to 5 support. There are plenty of people out there looking for work

They are a huge "trusted" company that produces electronic components that have a possibility of leaving you stranded without a vehicle. Yea its your choice to tune or not to, but you expect a certain level of service with the price you pay.

And this is far from the first time I've read this happening with SCT. All AM says is "call SCT". Well SCT has "gone fishin" for the weekend and left their customer stranded.
I don't know if Diablosport is as good or better but I do not ever remember reading about them having random issues like SCT.

I couldn't agree more. I work in the tech industry and I know that no technology isn't perfect. Most people are at a job M-F and don't have the time to call support and troubleshoot during 9-5 hours. I'm not saying they need to be there 24/7 but weekend support at least on a Saturday would have been helpful. SCT told me this is there busiest time of the season and that why your placed on hold for 20 minutes a pop. If you know that in advance then staff up for the summer.

Ehh. Must be a southern hospitality thing. Takes more than a software issue to **** me off. If they were not helping then I would be mad but they are obviously trying to fix it...
Guess I'm just to easy going

If you put yourself in his shoes i think you can see where the frustration comes from.
The weekend support seems to make the most sense since everyone works during the week and most tune installs probably take place during the weekend.

I used a Diablosport Predator tuner (part #07145) on my supercharged '07 Mustang GT. Never once had a glitch or issue. Easy to use, bigger screen, loaded waaaaaaay faster than my SCT tuner. Diablosport is getting my hard earned money when it's time for a new tuner.

I agree, there's definitely a issue, a guy I met at the track a couple weeks ago, almost was stranded at the track 2.5 hrs away from home, he had the SCT tuner connected and loaded the tune, Well the car wouldn't start. He tried several things and hrs later he got it back to stock tune and car started..

I remember early 2000s when Diablo was more popular, but people had all kinds of issues with their tunes - SCT rose to #1, at least with Ford tuners. This is the first I'm hearing of issues with SCT, and really they're software bugs, not tune related.

I have a SCT3 from my 2004 Mach1 that's just sitting in the cabinet, I haven't tried using it with a new tune for the Boss, but I can tell you before this I had a Diablo Predator and I loved it, I understand many dealers like the SCT, but as a consumer Diablo has been great.
