I have a 2012 mustang stick with 6000 miles on it. I recently just changed the engine oil to mobil 1 with the stock filter. I was wondering....is it true that it's good for the engine to be driven at WOT once in lets say a week. I rarely red line and drive at WOT so I was wondering if I should once in awhile. Anyone know?

Just make sure the engine is good and warm - at least 15 minutes of driving - if you're going to perform an Italian tune-up.
High performance engines do best when driven like high performance engines.

Awesome gets WOT at least once per driving session. Because she likes it, the Cooper Zeon RS3-As are just hooked, and I like it too.
Even better when it's cold.
/I need to go to a drag strip and practice launching with these new tires...

While I'm sure there's a few that were lower, Discounttiredirect.com (NOT tires.com, not Discounttire.com) were the people for the job when I bought them. I had to have them shipped to my work (a dealership) and had them mounted there. It pays to work in certain places...
But the dealership wasn't involved with the buyin' I just had 'em put on.
The Pirellis were $50 more than the Coopers, and I have to tell you, they are teh SUCK in comparison to these Zeon RS3-As.
I mean, in the RAIN they want to hook. It's stupid how good they perform in all aspects. Even stone cold... well, here in Houston in 40 degree cold anyway...
Can't yet speak of wear mileage yet. THey still look new though, and that's about 2500 miles later.
And frankly? They just LOOK better. They look... Mustang. I can't explain it better than that.
/Wish they were made for my motorcycle... that would be freakin' SWEET.
