Troubling News for 2011 Mustang orders

On Saturday my dealer checked it's status and it is supposedly at "ramp 5P" and was still there yesterday. Original delivery is still stated as week of 4/26.
David Young's car was at "ramp 51" as of last weekend and never updated again but all of a sudden showed up at his Tennessee dealer on Tuesday.
Was hoping to make some sence of these "ramps", in that some might be actual "hold" ramps and others really are "ready to ship" ... guess NOT !!

The customer care center looks a program called vehicle visibility/dealer connection that
shows them every update from day order was taken. Mine ordered feb/22, scheduled to
april 12 week of prod on 3/25, 3 other scheduling updates 3/26-3/30, scheduled day set
4/02, sent to plant 4/05, in producton body shop 4/8, trim line 4/12, produced 4/13,
in transit recieved at ramp 51 (rail, auto warehousing) 11:00 am 4/13, scheduled delivery
4/22. nothing since, until Ford called me yesturday about my delay inquiry.

To some people, like me, YES, it does matter. I was told to expect my car around 5/5. I understand this is an ETA, but I didn't know it could be a month off. So my car is sold, and now I'm still waiting for my Mustang. Also, this is just my situation, but I'm on vacation until 6/14, and after that, I won't have any time to drive the car like I can now. It'll be to work and home, working 15 hour days. That's it. So yea, it does matter.

I called this morning and my GT/CS still has an ETA of 5/7 and is "In Transit". Did anyone else get "In Transit" without any ramp number or any other tracking information? I feel like In Transit means they are counting the rotation of the earth in the car's travel and it's still sitting in the lot at AAI.

No ramp number given. I asked the Ford CSR if it was at Ramp 51... he didn't know what I was talking about.

Joe, you didn't get yours yet ! Still waiting on my VIN. I'm trying real hard to visualize it. I see numbers, i see letters. Yep, it's coming soon to an empty garage near you.

Yeah me too! I'll be going n vacation for a week on the 21st. It looks like in the old car! Errr!

No my ETA date keeps changing. I have 2 cars on order because of a mistake so one is 5/26 the other 6/2 so who knows. Weather sucks anyway so June will be fine. Waited this long.

Got some great news this AM form Ford.
I now have an ETA date.
4/23 !!!!
Looked in my garage this AM did not see a car.
I asked the Ford CSR if I ordered the invisible paint option because I don't see a car parked in the garage.
She had no answer.
Ford you are really screwing the pooch on this one !!!!!!!!!!!!
