I seem to have some symptoms of the MT-82 shifting difficulties. It likes to be treated gently, but it's still a little finicky on high RPM downshifts from 5th to 4th and sometimes 4th to 3rd.

I have to assume part of the issue is the tranny "winding up" under high power/RPM situations, as it never has issues during normal lower power driving. I just saw a "transmission mount stiffener" insert from one of the vendors on BMO, and I'm wondering if anyone has tried stiffening the factory mount or put in a stiffer tranny mount as an upgrade?

I had nearly solid motor mounts on my previous car before I sold it and I loved them. I would definitely consider doing the same (tranny and/or motor mounts) on the Mustang if some others have had good experiences
