Changing battery

Didn't see my question answered in the search I ran, so new thread

If I were to replace my battery in my 2014 GT, do I need any 'security codes' such as radio code or something to get everything back in action with the new battery? My previous car would lock the radio and require input of a specific code to unlock it. Have not heard of this with the new Mustangs, but they are new enough not many people would be replacing batteries yet

Thanks in advance

There is a battery backup device that plugs into your cigarette lighter adapter that'll hold all memory when you unplug your battery. I used to use them when I was a car stereo installer many moons ago.

not a bad idea... gives me an idea to use my battery charger connected to the battery terminal connectors to maintain power while I swap the battery... hmmm
