Congrats Brian that's a nice ride, I did some budget trimming as well. I traded the GT500 and bought the V6 premium performance package, Grabber blue. I know. Are you nuts you say?? The Shelby is a DD with a 30 mile commute. It was killing me on fuel. With the new payment, fuel savings and lower insurance costs I will save $3K per year. . Next week I will order the procharger for it which will wake it up a bit. Times are tough, the shop is slow not much paint work and family health issues and health ins costs have all gone way up.

I have been tempted to test out a 5.0...but afraid I'd like it too much. Beautiful looking car. Hope things work out. So is your 07 at the dealer still? Test drives available?

We also have another supercharged '07 for sale right now. Vista Blue GT/CS with an Edelbrock E-Force blower installed recently at the Mustang Shop in Auburn and tuned by John at the HorsePower Ranch, as well. 25K miles and priced at $24,950.
Oh yeah, we have several new 5.0L's available for well below MSRP. Come on in some time and say hi. I'm the only Brian there.
On a side note, I sold the PypeBombs. I do have a set of drag wheels/tires available if you know anyone with an 05-09 who drag races.

Thanks, Harold. My '07 is now available for sale at Bowen Scarff Ford Lincoln in Kent where I work. You've seen it in person at the HorsePower Ranch, and it's being sold with all the mods, so it's still 393 rwhp and runs high 11's in the 1/4 mile. 28K miles on the odometer and priced at $24,450. Is it time to trade in your '07 for my old '07?

I kicked around the Pype bombs back and forth...and ended up ordering the Ford GTA mufflers...but the first couple places said they couldnt get them anymore...they were discontinued! Found some in New Jersey for a "decent" price...ahem. I work in Kent...might have to swing by sometime. What size tires/wheels and what do you want for them (PM me if you'd rather do it that way)? Take care.
$550 for the complete set, or a reasonably close offer. I live in Kent, so it's a short drive for you to come see them in my garage.

You're correct; the DR's would clear the rear brakes. However, I made a deal with my wife during our budget trimming. No racing the new 5.0L. Plus, my new job involves working most every weekend (I was working M-F before), so I won't have any time to race for quite awhile anyway.
