Tire Pressure Monitor Sensors?

I was wondering if I can re-use the TPMS, if I decide to get new wheels, or do I need to purchase 4 new sensors?

I was looking to replace my Brembo wheels (19x9) with the FRPP Black Track Wheels, which are the exact same wheel (size, construction, etc.), except for the color (glossy black).

Any thoughts?

Thanks!

Yes, but you will need the actual Valve stem since we have rubber valve stems and not Metal ones ones that can be reused.

When I replaced my stock 18's with the black trackpack wheels

I had new sensors installed with the wheels and tires from Tire rack

they mounted right up and I did'nt even have to reset or program the new sensors

I wanted to keep my old sensors with the stock wheels so I can swap back if I need to or if I sell them

they will be complete with sensors.BTW I love these black TP wheels

May I ask how much the 4-pack was? Did you order them online?

Patrick:
Those wheels look sharp!!! How do you like the finish (glossy black)? Any issues with chip marks from road debris?

Car looks awesome with those wheels!!! (Now I want some!)

I just posed a question about this on another thread. I installed winter tires, with SVT wheels and new senors, on my 2011, also from Tire Rack. No error messages/lights and the program was not reset. I was ready to go to the dealer and have them activated. But they seem to have been recognized by the car's on board system.

I just put a new set of wheels/tires/TPMS on my 2011, and I haven't gotten a TPMS light either. Maybe somebody should let a lot of air out of one of their tires to see if the TPMS is still working . It would be great if I don't have to go an get it synced up.

2010+ appear to be self learning and you don't need to programmed them to your car.
I have 3 sets, one that came with it, one new set, and a set from my '06 with the new sensors.
They all work and the light does come on if pressure is low.
