I'm hoping someone who has gotten their new vert can tell me, does the boot that comes with the car match the top or the interior? I have a brick red interior, and was thinking how nice that would look with a brick red boot. Since the car is Race Red, a black boot wouldn't match anything with the top down. Ditto with the other interior colors.

 

not 100% but the one i drove, when i popped the trunk i think the boot was black (car was silver)

 

Was the interior black, also? I saw a silver vert with brick red interior but the boot wasn't on.

 

yes the interior was black, was a premium auto v6 vert

Gotcha. I didn't think you were British, so I was trying to figure out what else might be called a boot.

 

The boot is the cover you can put over the top when it's down. Never used mine once wit my 05'. Now that it's cloth I might reconsider.

 

The boot is freaking annoying. I wish I could have opted out of it when I bought my 'vert.

I never use it; the added effort compared to pressing the up/down top button is huge. And the top still looks pretty frekaing good without a boot on the back.

 

You could always sell it. No doubt, some V6 owners out there would like to have one.

 

Okay...so it's the cover over the top when it's down. I thought that might be what you were talking about. So we are not talking the trunk here.

 

I never used the boot on my '03 vert, but if it were brick red, matching the interior, I would probably use it on my new one....when it arrives....or should I say "if".
