That being said, I received my VLED switchbacks today. I installed them in about 10 minutes or less. (Steve/Overboost, luckily I have small hands.) All I had to do was remove the radiator cover shroud, then the black connector before the signal lights (anyone know what that connector is for?), then voila disconnect the amber lights and swap them out. I guessed correctly on the polarity of one of them, then switched for the next one. Easy Peasy.
I must say, this is another one of my FAVORITE mods.

Thanks JP. That's exactly the one I am looking for. At 40 bucks, that's not bad. I might swing for those. How did you know that 3157 would fit the bulb base on our mustangs tho? That's what confused me... usually there's a fitment guide or something, but that's where I got confused with the 194 part #. So you're sure no other fitment piece is needed?
FWIW, 3157s will fit into a 3357 socket and vice versa, though they won't work right. 3357 bulbs are distinguishable from 3157 bulbs by having two sets of contacts, and (for incandescents) two filaments. 3157s as a number are more commonly used than the (correct) 3357s in conversation.

You can do some research on bulb types if you want, but to make a long story short, 194s are little wedge-base peanut bulbs. You find them in map lights, side marker bulbs, behind-dash lights, interior accent lighting (when it's not LEDs, that is), etc. 3157s, and their dual-circuit cousins, 3357s, are large wedge-base bulbs that are used for front parking lights , or rear brake lights (usually 3357s for dual-brightness, or white/orange in the VLED's case). It's just something that's known. No car has a 194 (or its close relative the 127) for a front parking lamp - it just doesn't provide enough light.

But yeah, I'm "thinking" about going with 194s for some of the interiors and side markers, but it's a very low probability.

Sounds like the install was pretty easy on both? I thought for the rear plate bulbs you had to remove a lot of stuff to get to it?
In your guys' opinion, is it worth upgrading to white REVERSE LED lights? I mean how often do people see it, anyways

Installed my Switchbacks today without any issues...literally a 5min job! Only cause I have an aftermarket CAI, otherwise it would probably be longer to install! No resistors either
